First Grade Supply List
Please bring these supplies on the first day of school.
Roland Park School expects all students to wear the school uniform: navy tops and khaki bottoms.
Individual supplies:
- 12 sharpened yellow pencils with erasers*
- 2 large pink erasers
- 1 box 24 crayons (no markers or colored pencils)
- 1 pair student scissors with name written on it
- 1 large pencil pouch (no boxes)
- 1 pocket folder with pockets on bottom
- 2 glue sticks
- Change of clothing
- Book bag that will fit in school locker (no wheels)
- 1 marble composition book
- $10.00 cash for individual subscription to Time for Kids magazine and a primary writing journal.
Classroom donations:
- tissues – Lysol wipes for desk cleaning
- - paper towels – hand sanitizer
- - markers - 4oz. white glue bottle
- - extra pencils – extra erasers- colored pencils
- - craft supplies (gems, foam shapes, beads, etc.)
- * Over the last few years we have found the quality of pencils varies greatly. We recommend Dixon-Ticonderoga as the most durable. They sharpen well and last a longer time. Sharpen pencils at home; no personal sharpeners are allowed in the classroom.
